Ad hoc-Release according § 15 WpHG: Volker Feldkamp will be successor of Frank Abele

Offenburg, August 29, 2013 – The Supervisory Board of MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft (MediClin) has appointed Volker Feldkamp (54) to the Management Board of the Company effective January 1, 2014. He will be the successor of Frank Abele (CEO), who will leave MediClin at the end of the year 2013 at his own request. The Supervisory Board ensures by the appointment of Volker Feldkamp at an early stage a smooth transition of the tasks in the Management Board of MediClin.

Volker Feldkamp, before member of the Management Board of Rhön-Klinikum AG, will head the Company as CEO after the resignation of Frank Abele. Volker Feldkamp has many years of experience in the health care system as executive manager and in the implementation of operational processes, so that a continuous development of the existing strategy of the company will be guaranteed.
