MediClin supports the further development of medical services by participating in scientific projects for the development and evaluation of medical care, as well as by promoting independent research activities.
Examples of participation in scientific research and evaluation projects:
- RMK project for the development of case classes for rehabilitation patients in medical rehabilitation (participating facilities include, amongst others, MediClin Bliestal Kliniken Blieskastel, MediClin Reha-Zentrum Roter Hügel Bayreuth)
- Pilot project “Direct referral with psychosomatic illnesses” (participating facilities include, amongst others, MediClin Deister Weser Kliniken Bad Münder in cooperation with AOK and the University of Osnabrück)
- Bypass study “Off-Pump/On-Pump” in cooperation with the University of Halle – study on procedures carried out with and without heart-lung machines (participating facility: MediClin Herzzentrum Coswig)
